Monkey's Blood!

Just been out for the day with Mrs C, and bought her a 99 cornet (no expense spared with me you know!).
Mr Whippy (for 'twas the man himself) asked "Do you want sauce on that?"
Mrs C replied "Sauce?!! I want monkey's blood!"

It was always called monkey's blood when I was a kid - is the raspberry juice not known as that anymore? Or is that just a Geordie thing? It always sounds better in a Geordie accent any way - go on, give it a go - pretend you're Ant or Dec and say 'monkey's blood'. It just puts a grin on your face!
